It all began with an idea…
Founded in 2019 by Jane Ekholm and Adrienne Donnelly, the Newcastle Virtual Assistants Network was created from an identified need for connection and collaboration in the industry.
Since its inception, the Network has grown to more than 200 members; a community of virtual assistants with experience and knowledge across a variety of industries!
The aim of our network is to provide a space for local Virtual Assistants to connect, bridge the gap between VAs and local business owners who could utilise a VA in their business, and partner with industry leaders to provide a quality and consistent benchmark across the Australia Virtual Assistant community.

Jane created The Jane Edit in 2016 to support women and specialises in supporting small creative businesses.
Jane has 20+ years of experience with a strong background in business administration and executive assistance and specialises in graphic design, marketing, business processes, social media management, event management and marketing, project management.
Adrienne Donnelly
Personal Virtual Assistant at Organised by Adrienne
Adrienne started this business in November 2016, when she saw a need for all-round support for small business owners.
Adrienne now has a team of specialists that work with her on projects including other virtual assistants, graphic designers, photographers, videographers, copywriters, website developers, and editors.
